Kitchen and living room

This post is LONG overdue, but things have been really crazy around our house. We have moved into the house (for the most part) and Nate has left for Switzerland to do Math. Nate did a lot of install right before he left leaving me to do finishing touches and the upstairs. It turns out that when I'm working by myself my motivation level is a tad bit lower than when I'm working with other people. Therefore, this post is going to be dedicated to the kitchen and living room. Hopefully I will be able to post on the rest of the house soon. At this point the living room is pretty much done minus a few paint touch ups. We've moved in new furniture and rug and put in crown. We also added bamboo shades and white curtains.

A lot of things have been added to the kitchen from the last post, most importantly the new granite counter tops. We've also installed the island and have the dining room table moved in. We've installed crown above the cabinets and a white and blue back splash. We still have a lot of trim painting to do in this room.

Hopefully tomorrow I'll have the Master done (I know what you're thinking... wasn't that done months ago? ... but we've been living with unpainted trim and such for a few months now) and both upstairs bedrooms will be painted and floors stained.
